  • Q2. How Do I Book With A Guest Artist?
    A. All guest artists book their own appointments. Instructions will be displayed on our social media posts, it may differ from artist to artist so please read carefully to see their preferred method of contact.
  • Q3. How Should I Prepare For My Appointment?
    A. Please make sure you are well-hydrated and have eaten at least two hours prior to your appointment. Drinking alcohol the night before or the day of your appointment is not recommended. We reserve the right to refuse any services if you arrive at your appointment under the influence or if we suspect that you are under the influence of either alcohol or drugs. Please do not have any fake tan applied to the area you wish to get tattooed or pierced. Please stay out of the sun prior to your appointment, as we cannot tattoo over sunburn.
  • Q4. What Should I Bring To My Appointment?
    A. VALID PHOTO ID You will be required to provide a valid photo ID for all services. (Minimum age requirements vary for each piercing (please see our "Piercing" page for details) and is always 18 years old for tattoos. APPROPRIATE CLOTHING Ensure you are wearing clothing appropriate for your appointment. Obviously you should feel comfortable but we will need access to the area to give you the best service. For example, if you are getting your navel pierced, wear a top you can easily lift up. If you are getting your leg tattooed, you can wear shorts or a skirt. SNACKS AND DRINKS Please bring snacks and drinks with you to your appointment, especially if you are being tattooed. We recommend bringing water and a sugary drink to ensure you stay hydrated and energised throughout your experience.
  • Q5. Can I Use Numbing Cream For My Appointment?
    A. PIERCINGS For most piercings, we advise not to use numbing cream. This is because it can constrict/tighten the skin - so the piercing can look "straight" to start with, e.g. a navel piercing in line with the navel/stomach area. However, once the numbing cream has worn off and the skin has returned to normal, the piercing can move, thus no longer appearing "straight". But, for other piercings, it may not be a problem. Please always check with your piercer (before your appointment date) if you wish to use numbing cream, and they will advise you if/how it will affect the piercing and if they will still perform the service. TATTOOS Our artists generally don't mind if you want to use numbing cream for your appointment, provided you have done a patch test/used it before and know you will not react. However, please still check with your artist (before your appointment date) if you wish to use it. Numbing creams can sometimes cause excess bleeding and colours to dull, so your artist may advise against using them for a specific area/design. If your artist/piercer has confirmed they are okay with you using numbing cream, we recommend TKTX Yellow. To purchase and for instructions on how to apply, please click here. Please always perform a patch test before applying to large areas, as reactions can occur.
  • Q7. Can I Get Tattooed If I Am Under 18 But Have Parental Consent?
    A. No. However, most piercings can be performed with parental consent if, under a certain age, tattoos are not. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to be tattooed, regardless of whether or not they have parental consent.
  • Q6. Can I Get Tattooed Or Pierced If I Am Pregnant Or Breastfeeding?
    A. No. You can not get tattooed or pierced if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Although we adhere to the highest levels of health, safety, and infection control, it is still not advisable to have a piercing or tattoo whilst you are pregnant and/or breastfeeding.
  • Q8. Can I Bring A Guest/spectator To My Appointment?
    A. If you are getting a piercing and are under 16, you must bring your parent or legal guardian to the appointment with you. If you are getting a tattoo, we require you to attend your appointment by yourself. If, for a special circumstance, you feel like you need someone to attend the appointment with you, please discuss it with your artist, and they will advise if that would be possible.
  • Q9. Do I Need To Bring ID To My Appointment?
    A. If you are under 16 and getting a piercing, the parent or legal guardian that you bring with you will be your ID, so you need not bring any other form of ID. If you are 16+ years old and getting a piercing by yourself or getting a tattoo, you will need to bring a valid photo ID with you. This will need to be either a driving license/provisional or a passport - something with your photo and date of birth. Birth certificates will not be accepted, as they do not include a photo. If you are getting a tattoo, you will need a valid photo ID as above and be over the age of 18.
  • Q10. Do I Need To Book An Appointment, Or Can I Just Walk In?
    A. For piercings you can check availability on our booking system, by phone or email. If you are in the area, we may be able to accommodate walks ins upon request but we do recommend booking for a guaranteed slot. For tattoos you can call for availability, we usually aware of any cancellations by 10:30am, or you can email us on the day. Walk in tattoo availability is less common than piercings but we always happy to take enquiries.
  • Q11. How Do I Look After My New Tattoo Or Piercing?
    A. Please refer to our "Aftercare" page for all our recommended aftercare advice.
  • Q12. How Much Will My Tattoo Or Piercing Cost?
    A. You can see our complete list of piercing prices on our "Piercing" page. Our tattoo artists price their tattoos themselves. The cost is "per piece" rather than hourly, so they can only give you a price once they know your idea, the placement, rough size , and any stylistic requirements . The artist will give you a quote when booking before they ask you to pay a 50% deposit. You can also book a "day session", which is priced at the artists' discretion.
  • Q13. What Payment Methods Do You Accept?
    A. Cash is preferred, but we can also take the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Apple Pay, Delta, Google Pay, Solo. Please contact us before your visit if you have any other questions or requirements.
