Piercing Aftercare
Piercing Aftercare Guidelines
Taking care of your new piercing is vital for its healing and your overall health. Once you leave our studio, the responsibility shifts to you to ensure proper aftercare. Failure to do so may result in infections or other complications. Here's a guide to help you maintain your piercing:
Removal Of Cover
After 1-2 hours, remove any covering from your piercing and gently wash it with warm water to remove any blood.
Cleaning Routine
Clean your new piercing three times a day - in the morning, midday, and before bed - for the next six weeks. You can use a ready-made saline solution or make your own by dissolving two teaspoons of salt in a mug of warm water. Ensure the salt is fully dissolved and the water has cooled down before use.
Cleaning Process
Gently push the jewellery to expose one side of the piercing. Use a cotton bud dipped in the cleaning solution to clean both the jewellery and the piercing hole. Repeat this process for the other side of the piercing.
Changing Jewellery
After six weeks of regular cleaning, you may consider changing the jewellery.
Specific Care Instructions

For oral piercings, clean the outside of the jewellery as described above and gargle the solution to clean the inner part.

Avoid spicy foods and alcohol-based mouthwash if you smoke.

For navel piercings, maintain good posture and avoid tight clothing for six weeks.

For nipple piercings, wear padded bras, avoid chest exercises, and intimate contact for six weeks.

Avoid swimming and sauna use for the first six weeks after piercing.
