Tattoo Aftercare
Your Guide To Post-Tattoo Care
After leaving our studio, the responsibility for the care and maintenance of your new tattoo falls upon you. To ensure optimal healing and preserve the integrity of your tattoo, please follow these essential aftercare steps:
Initial Care
Keep your tattoo wrapped for 1-2 hours after leaving the studio. Afterwards, gently wash the tattooed area with warm water and mild, unscented soap using only your hand. Pat the area dry with disposable paper towels and avoid using regular towels.
Aftercare Products
Apply a thin layer of your chosen aftercare product to the tattooed area, ensuring no excess cream remains on the surface. Avoid using Vaseline, Savlon, or cosmetic creams without consulting your artist first.
Routine Care
Apply the aftercare product three times a day for the next 2-3 weeks to aid in the healing process. Showering is permitted, but avoid baths and fully submerging the tattoo in water. Rinse off any products that may come into contact with the tattoo while showering.
Avoid Irritation
During the healing process, your tattoo may develop scabs and itchiness. Refrain from picking at the scabs or scratching the tattoo, as this can damage the artwork.
No Swimming Or Saunas
For the first two weeks following your tattoo appointment, avoid swimming or using saunas to prevent exposure to potentially harmful bacteria.
